Crews work to restore access to 50 homes after Flowery Branch washout

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Hall County crews are working around the clock to restore road access to about 50 homes cut off by a washout in a Flowery Branch neighborhood, officials said Saturday.

More than 6 inches of rain fell in the area Friday, according to First Alert Radar estimates. Flooding washed out part of Falcon Crest Drive, leaving some residents stranded.
