ALPHARETTA, Ga. — An Alpharetta American Legion Post 201 member is developing a six-hour course to assist veterans with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs claims.
Post member Jay McVinney is creating the course to guide veterans through the claims process to minimize delays. Presented over four work sessions, the course is currently in a pilot stage, and McVinney is seeking 10 veterans to test it.
