Auburn hitters ‘locked in’ this fall under the direction of Ammirati

When Auburn coach Butch Thompson hired Georgia hitting coach Nick Ammirati to handle the same role for the Tigers, one of the things he was looking for was to bring a new mentality to the plate. Using more analytics and also focusing more on getting launch angles and hitting the ball out of the park, it was going to be a big change for Auburn’s hitters. Now a few months into the move, catcher Chase Fralick said he’s loving it.
