Fireworks are Illegal on All Federal Public Lands

The Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests wants citizens to help prevent wildfires this summer! Remember, fireworks are illegal on all federal public lands, including the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. Fireworks start more than 19,500 fires every year. The risk for fire is even higher during periods of drought. As we experience Abnormally Dry conditions across Georgia, it’s extra important to be diligent in preventing wildfires.
