On Monday, September 9th, Brewton-Parker College (BPC) was honored to host Amy Denty, Director of Literacy for the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE). Local educators and BPC Education students had the opportunity to engage with Denty as she discussed the critical role of literacy in K-12 education and shared current strategies and practices used by educators across Georgia.
