Law enforcement officials in Barrow County have praised new technology in Barrow County schools for enabling a swift response to the shooting earlier this month at Apalachee High School. That Crisis Alert System created by Atlanta-based Centegix includes a wearable badge with a button that when pressed summons security. And other schools in Georgia are using this technology as well.
