Suspected Tulsa Murderer Apprehended at Georgia Motel, Weapons and Drugs Seized

A fugitive wanted for a grisly murder in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been apprehended at a motel in DeKalb County, Georgia. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Jason Bowen, age 40, and his 34-year-old girlfriend, Trasawn Hick, were caught by local police with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals last Thursday.

Searching for Bowen originated from suspicions of his involvement in the death of 29-year-old Tevin Goff, officials said, after family members signalled alarm about Goff’s disappearance to the Tulsa Police Department. Goff’s body was sadly discovered by the side of a road after his vehicle was seen ablaze outside Porter, Oklahoma. On Flat Shoals Road, caught at the motel, authorities found Bowen and discovered drugs and weapons in their room, the DeKalb County Police Department reported.
