ATLANTA — At Fulton County Schools, the newest safety measures are furry, friendly, and four-legged.
Meet Duckie, Earnie, and Delilah – the district’s new safety K-9s. These Labrador retrievers will visit schools, bond with students, and help detect potential dangers.
On Friday, March 14, the trio officially became FCS K-9 officers after earning their certification badges for completing six weeks of intensive weapons identification training. Their handlers, Officers Jerry Robinson, Broderick Cleveland, and Sean Hanse, were also presented with certification badges for their dedication in training the dogs.
