The Lanier Regional Drug Task Force (LRDTF) arrested two suspects in Forsyth County following the seizure of approximately 78 pounds of cocaine and fentanyl during a traffic stop.
Agents were conducting surveillance on a business located on Trotters Way after receiving a tip about possible drug trafficking activity. Investigators observed a van arrive at the business, where two men exited, entered the building, and returned with a large box that was loaded into the van before leaving the area.
A K9 unit with the LRDTF conducted a traffic stop on the van after the driver failed to obey a stop sign. The K9 alerted to the presence of narcotics, and a subsequent search of the van uncovered the large quantity of cocaine and fentanyl…
