A felony murder warrant has been taken against the alleged shooter
LOGANVILLE, GA (July 9, 2025) – Loganville Police Chief Dick Lowry announced Wednesday that a warrant has been taken against George R. Armstrong 74, for felony murder after the victim in the shooting has died as a result of her injuries. She succumbed to her injuries on July 9.
Armstrong was arrested on June 29 at Big Sam Circle home in Loganville on after police responded to a report of a shooting at that location. He was taken into custody at the time and charged with one count each of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of firearm during the commission of a crime. The murder charge will be added. He remains in custody at the Walton County jail…
