It’s happened again!
A loud boom and buildings shaking had a slew of calls sending Walton County Sheriff’s Deputies and members of Monroe Police Department responding to reports all over the county. There have even been reports from Bishop in Oconee County. The boom was heard a little before 9:30 p.m. Saturday night.
“Both MFD and WCFR were dispatched to different locations due to callers reporting the explosion. No incident has been found,” Monroe Fire Chief Andrew Dykes said, adding it was also felt in Social Circle. “The main thing is that there aren’t reports of any damage or injuries, just a boom of unknown origin.”…
