Five individuals have been detained following a substantial drug operation by DeKalb County Police, where authorities apprehended a haul that included firearms, drugs, and cash at a residence just off Memorial Drive, specifically identified as the 5000 block of W. Mountain Street, as
reported by FOX 5 Atlanta. The bust transpired after officers executed a search warrant, leading to an unexpected turn when 28-year-old Courtland Rogers fled the scene, chased by a drone piloted by an officer that tracked him into a neighboring apartment complex and another individual colliding with an armored vehicle in an attempt to escape during the altercation.
The SWAT team’s subsequent breach of the targeted home revealed six guns, 14 pounds of marijuana, and a sum of money undisclosed by officials.
