DUNWOODY, Ga. — A 16-year-old girl is in critical condition after being shot over the weekend during a dispute with an Uber driver while she and a group were getting picked up from a Waffle House in Dunwoody, police say.
The incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Waffle House at 4532 Chamblee Dunwoody Road. According to the Dunwoody Police, the incident began when the Uber driver arrived and stated that all five females in the group couldn’t fit in the car.
“They argued with the driver about (the) refusal and who should cancel the trip with Uber,” a Dunwoody PD statement said. “The argument escalated, one of the females threatened to kill the driver and struck (the driver) in the face.”…
