ATLANTA — Atlanta officials are quietly launching an initiative to get a new hospital built on the city’s west side. This comes after the Atlanta Medical Center closed three years ago this week.
The site in southwest Atlanta – not far from the BeltLine — now houses a hodgepodge of businesses. A medical provider quietly purchased it months ago. Now it could be the site of a new hospital.
