ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Tyler Perry is helping metro Atlanta families who are facing hunger amid the ongoing federal government shutdown.
The Atlanta-based media mogul told People magazine he’s donated nearly $1.4 million to organizations that support families impacted by benefit cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
