A person operating a scooter was seriously injured early Friday, Feb. 6, in a vehicle collision on Friendship Road in Buford.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said the scooter operator was going eastbound on Friendship Road before 2 a.m. near Fall Branch Lane, and a Ford Fusion driven by a Flowery Branch man was traveling behind him.
The scooter reportedly had no lights or reflectors and was in the roadway when the driver of the Fusion struck it from behind.
The unidentified operator of the scooter suffered serious injuries, including a broken leg. He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for surgery…
