New principals named at Britt Elementary, Pinckneyville Middle

Two Gwinnett County schools have new principals whose appointments were approved by the county’s school board last week.

Keisha B. Jackson will replace Melissa Madsen, who is retiring, at Britt Elementary School, where Jackson already serves as an assistant principal. Meanwhile, Chad D. Charoenlap will replace Todd Marschke, who is also retiring, at Pinckneyville Middle School.

Jackson has worked in education for more than 15 years, including the last seven years in Gwinnett County Public Schools. She began her career in 2010 as a teacher in Atlanta Public Schools, where she rose to the position of principal before moving to GCPS, as a teacher at Corley Elementary School in 2019…
