Man sentenced to 25 years for meth distribution in Gwinnett

A man has been sentenced to 25 years for methamphetamine charges in Gwinnett County.

Asa Phillip Daniels, age 46, was arrested in Duluth in July of 2025 on charges of possession of meth with intent to distribute. A statement from the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday, Mar. 3, said he was attempting to sell the illegal drugs.

“He attempted to sell more than four grams to an undercover officer,” the district attorney’s office said.

Daniels was sentenced in Gwinnett County Superior Court to 25 years, with 18 to be served in prison. The district attorney’s office said Daniels also had prior felony convictions that factored into the sentencing…
