Gwinnett County prosecutors say they will seek the death penalty for 35-year-old Kevin Andrews, the man accused of killing Gwinnett County Police Officer Pradeep Tamang during a February confrontation at a Stone Mountain-area hotel. The Feb. 1 shooting at a Holiday Inn Express also left Master Police Officer David Reed seriously wounded and has renewed focus on just how quickly a so-called routine call can turn deadly.
