Atlanta woman arrested, accused of scamming woman out of $79K in Florida

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — An Atlanta woman was arrested in Florida Tuesday and accused of helping run a fraud ring where scammers call victims and pose as law enforcement.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said D’Zyre Youngblood, 28, scammed a woman out of $79,000 in bitcoin by posing as “Captain Dietrich.”

“It was nice to introduce D’Zyre to the real Capt. Dietrich after we brought her down here,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post…
