MONROE, Ga. A Mexican national who prosecutors say was a key member of the Sinaloa Cartel has been sentenced to over 15 years in prison for running a drug trafficking pipeline out of North Georgia, according to federal prosecutors.

Jose Guadalupe Favela, 68, was sentenced to 188 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release for the distribution of methamphetamine.
