Dragon Festival will highlight Chinese culture this weekend

Egg hunts are a traditional staple ahead of Easter, but the Georgia Chinese American Community will offer a unique take on them as part of a broader celebration this weekend.

The GCAC will hold a Dragon Egg Hunt as part of its Dragon Festival at the Lawrenceville Lawn on Saturday. The festival will last from 11:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. and include several activities highlighting Chinese culture, including Chinese calligraphy and live performances.

About 4,000 eggs will be disbursed during the Dragon Egg Hunts and each hunt will include five “lucky eggs” with prizes…
