ATLANTA — The smoky haze and burn smell outside across metro Atlanta on Wednesday is coming from extensive wildfires in south Georgia, with Fulton County EMA recommending residents who are sensitive to such conditions limit their time outdoors.
A “code orange” was issued for metro Atlanta, meaning the air quality is unhealthy for people with respiratory issues.
