Jefferson County man, Nicholasville woman sentenced in attempted online enticement case

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A Jefferson County man and a Nicholasville woman have been sentenced in federal court for attempted online enticement of minors.

Charles O’Loan, 40, and Amber Warner, 36, were sentenced May 28, 2026, to 15 years in federal prison, followed by lifetime supervised release, on one count each of attempted online enticement of minors. The court also ordered the defendants to pay $6,000 in restitution to two victims.

Federal prosecutors said the two communicated with each other between Jan. 11, 2024, and May 30, 2025, to coordinate plans to sexually assault two minor victims. Authorities said the pair exchanged messages on their cell phones, discussed illegal sexual acts involving the victims, and used grooming tactics.
