Lexington marks 120 days without a homicide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The city of Lexington reached 120 consecutive days without a homicide, a milestone believed to be the longest stretch in the city’s recorded history.

ONE Lexington, a city-based initiative that works to reduce gun violence, searched through city archives and could not find another time when Lexington has gone this long without a homicide.
