LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – University of Kentucky leaders have taken numerous trips overseas on taxpayer money in the past three years, and are refusing to publish related receipts, according to a report by the Lexington Herald-Leader.
The Herald-Leader says top leaders at UK have taken nearly 200 trips in three years, costing around $269,000.
Some of the most expensive trips were overseas in London and the Cayman Islands. UK says these trips were for board meetings involving a UK controlled insurance company based offshore. The LLC is called Insure Blue…
