When it comes to wondering what national restaurant chain we could get next here in Kentucky, I’ve ticked off several types in my mind that we might not even need. I’m thinking burgers, Mexican, ice cream, and chicken. I think we’re covered there, don’t you?
While I realize that any new national chain opening in any state or region for the first time will generate excitement, regardless of its theme, I like “new.” And a random search has satisfied my longing, so to speak. A national chain serving up Hawaiian cuisine is not only coming to Kentucky, but there will be many locations when it does.
Hawaiian Bros Island Grill
Hawaiian Bros Island Grill is set to make a big splash in Kentucky, with eight locations planned for Greater Louisville. New openings are also expected in Lexington and Bowling Green.
