LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After a week of turmoil for Fayette County Public Schools following Superintendent Demetrus Liggins’ placement on administrative leave, questions continue to swirl about the investigation into allegations of misconduct.
For the last several days, FOX 56 has been following claims of misconduct brought to the table by state Representative and FCPS Employee Adrielle Camuel.
Her attorneys claimed security video showed Dr. Liggins slipping a document under her door that appeared to be a threatening email—possibly a letter he forged.

“The reaction has been overwhelmingly supportive,” one of Camuel’s attorneys, Rick Adams, said. “I think people were shocked by that behavior. And especially given the financial situation and the budget situation of the district, I think there was already a lot of frustration with the school district in the community. and this was just piled on to that.”…
