After having been cancelled due to heat for the past two years, the Longest Day of Play was once again celebrated at Flat Run Veterans Park on Thursday, June 18.
Skies were gray, but temperatures were mild, and aside from a few sprinkles, the weather remained dry.
Children checked in and got a passport to sign at each station. Everyone received a string bag to collect giveaway items at all the stations, and most youngsters left with a full sack…
