Lexington Health Department states guidelines for legal food vending

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department shared guidelines for serving food at community events.

The health department requires a Temporary Food Service Permit to be able to prepare or serve food at a community event. Permits must be applied for at least 48 hours before the event, as there are no same-day permits.
