BOURBON COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — Justin Roe said he has not seen a crash in his district as bad as the Bullitt County crash Monday that left 14 people injured.
He said, though, improvements can be made in his own district’s safety by learning from that tragedy.

“We come in, we discuss: ‘Hey what happened here, how can we prevent those things?'” said Roe, Transportation and Maintenance Director for Bourbon County Schools.
He said accidents can be hard to avoid, no matter how skilled a bus driver may be.
“Accidents will happen, across here there are so many county and rural roads, you’re at the mercy of other drivers at times,” Roe said. “Let’s look at the scenario, and now that it’s arisen somewhere else, what are we going to do when or if it happens here?”…
