LEXINGTON, Ky. — Longtime federal prosecutor Jason Parman has been appointed by the United States District Court to lead the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
Parman brings extensive institutional experience to the top post, having served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney since 2008. From 2013 until March 2026, he led regional federal prosecutions as Branch Manager of the London Branch Office.
A native Kentuckian, Parman earned his undergraduate degree in police administration from Eastern Kentucky University before graduating from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
