LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – The cost of getting an oil change has increased over the past year as oil prices have risen, mechanics said. Newer vehicles that require a less common type of motor oil are also facing supply challenges.
Eddie Lynch, owner of Exhaust Pro on Winchester Road, said the average cost of an oil change used to be in the “40 dollar range, which today is probably more in the sixty dollar range.”
