Lexington doctor raises concerns about recent measles outbreak

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A recent measles outbreak is raising some concern in the Lexington area. Experts say low vaccination rates are an indirect cause of measles. “When you have 8-10 cases like that cluster, like we had in Philadelphia, that should be alarming,” said Dr. Jai Gilliam, who works in internal medicine and pediatrics for Baptist Health.
