The former Coba Cocina building might not be coming down yet , but plans have been filed for what could be coming next at the high-profile location.
A proposal filed Monday with Lexington planning officials shows Greer Land Co. hopes to put a bank and a new restaurant on the vacant spot currently occupied by the former Mexican restaurant known for its giant jellyfish tank.

No concept was specified for the proposed restaurant, which would be 2,700 square feet, with indoor and outdoor seating and a double drive-thru, according to the plans.
The proposed bank building would be 2,900 square feet and also have a double drive-thru. No specific tenant was listed for the bank building either.
