LOUISVILLE, Ky. – An upcoming rally at the State Capitol in Frankfort will celebrate 25 years of Louisville’s Fairness Ordinance. On Jan. 26, 1999, Louisville became the first city in Kentucky and among the first in the nation to protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination by adding sexual orientation and gender identity to employment protections.
