2026 three-star wide receiver Jasen Lopez on Kentucky’s radar since he added an offer in May . Now, he’s looking to get on campus.
The 6-foot, 170-pound wideout from True North Classical Academy (Miami, FL) told KSR+ that Kentucky inside linebackers coach Mike Stoops reached out about a visit on Wednesday. Lopez is planning to visit for a game.
“That’s something I’m really looking forward to,” Lopez said. “I told him I’ll let him know which game I’m most interested in going to, I’ll talk to my parents about it, and text him back.”
Despite growing up in Florida, Kentucky has always been a school on Lopez’s mind. He said, “it’s always been a big school for me and my family.”
“I know they have a really good basketball team as well and that’s what they’re really known for,” Lopez said. “I love Kentucky.”
As far as a game day visit, Lopez wants to get a feel for the overall environment, including the stadium, fan base, and support system. Simply said, he wants to see how they do things.
