Kentucky Fish & Wildlife to hold surplus, confiscated items auction: Here’s what will be on the lot

FRANKFORT, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Throughout the year, the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KFWR is required under state law to host an auction for items confiscated in law enforcement investigations, or counted as surplus. From crossbows to trucks to chainsaws, the auction has something for everyone.

According to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife (KYFWR) website, organizers will hold the live auction on Monday. Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. at 1 Sportsman’s Lane in Frankfort with sales kicking off outdoors at 9 a.m. rain or shine.

Under Kentucky law, only state residents can purchase confiscated items at the auction, per KYFW officials.
