LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A Lexington home that caught fire Wednesday afternoon went up in flames again that same evening.
Firefighters said they were called about the first fire around 2:30 p.m. on Bahama Road off Winchester Road. When crews arrived, they saw the garage completely engulfed in flames. The homeowner and their dog were still inside.

Crews said both made it out safely. The home sustained smoke and water damage, and a family of four was displaced. Firefighters believe a lawnmower caused the garage fire.
Around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, firefighters said they were called again to the same home for another fire.

There’s still no word on what caused the second blaze.
