TikTok-famous wings, Voodoo fries coming to Lexington location near UK campus

An Internet-famous chicken wing restaurant is planning a third Lexington location before the first two are even open.

Wingstop , which is famous on TikTok and other social media for its spicy wings and Voodoo Fries, is planning to open on Woodland Avenue.

A spokesperson for Wingstop did not immediately respond to a request for comment on timing.

The Texas-based chain also is opening locations on Richmond Road and Tates Creek Road . The location at 3080 Richmond Road. was expected to open this month.

The latest location, according to a permit application filed with the city on Nov. 7, is for 384 Woodland Ave., where it will be wedged between an existing Subway and the former Lynagh’s Irish Pub.
