The City of Frankfort Fire and EMS posted on Facebook that around 10 p.m. on Saturday crews got multiple calls about a house fire in the eastern part of the city.
When fire crews and emergency personnel arrived at the scene, fire officials said that heavy fire seemed to be coming from the back of the home, but a search of the area showed that a storage unit was on fire.
“The fire had moderate extension into the rear of the home and attic area,” Frankfort fire crews said.
