Lexington man loses everything in house fire, keeps positive outlook on situation

LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — Walking up to 3032 Dartmouth Drive in Lexington, the smell of smoke still hits you, five days after the home went up in flames.

“That’s one of the saddest things, is all the things that we had. And just the fact that it’s now pretty much just a pile of rubble. I mean, that’s it. It is devastating to see that that just does it. It breaks my heart,” said Christopher Jackson, who lived at the home that went up in flames.

Around 9 a.m. Monday, Jackson’s home caught fire while he was away on a work trip.
