Lexington launching roadway project to research traffic, pedestrian safety

Lexington’s High Street will be seeing some roadway changes as part of a city pilot project meant to help improve safety for its pedestrians.

Traffic engineers plan to reduce traffic to one lane, adding a bike lane and creating 36 more parking spots from Woodland Avenue to Rose Street.
