Georgetown movie theater sold, will close temporarily this summer

The Theatres of Georgetown will temporarily close this summer while the theater switches to new management, according to a Facebook post from the theater.

The theater’s final showing under the current management, Roaden Enterprises, will take place Thursday. The theater will show multiple viewings of “Ballerina,” “Karate Kid: Legends,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning,” “The Last Rodeo” and “Final Destination: Bloodlines.”

It was not immediately clear Tuesday morning who bought the theater, but Roaden Enterprises said it’s expected to reopen in July…
