LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A 16-year-old has been charged in a deadly Lexington stabbing.
Police say officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Douglas Avenue at around 8:45 p.m. Wednesday for an individual who had been stabbed. When officers arrived, they located a male victim suffering from a life-threatening stab wound.
The victim was transported to UK Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn has identified the victim as 67-year-old Freddie Richard Lynem Jr. of Lexington.
