Manhunt Ends in Montana: Kentucky Murder Suspect Caught After Fleeing in Victim’s Car

Shocking new details have emerged in the Kentucky murder investigation involving 31-year-old Jesse Lewis, who now faces multiple felony charges. Authorities allege Lewis shot and killed 47-year-old Michael Walker inside Lewis’s Clark County apartment, before fleeing the state in a vehicle registered to the victim’s wife.

The investigation began on June 4, when Lewis’s landlord made a gruesome discovery. Walker’s lifeless body was found inside Lewis’s apartment on Athens Boonesboro Road. Preliminary autopsy results from the Kentucky Medical Examiner’s Office revealed Walker suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

Gunshots and Witness Accounts

Investigators pieced together the timeline, determining that Walker’s last known location was at Lewis’s apartment on May 23. Multiple neighbors and Lewis’s landlord reported hearing gunfire in the early morning hours of May 24. Adding to the suspicion, several spent firearm casings were recovered from the crime scene.
