GEORGETOWN, Ky. (FOX 56) — A $620 sale on Facebook Marketplace turned out to be too good to be true for Lucy Leszczynski, who is now out of an iPhone 15 Pro.
It started when a prospective buyer asked her if she could meet in Georgetown for an exchange, but then stopped contact. Then a week later, another messenger asked the same thing, even offering gas money.
“It was an abandoned duplex. I mean, like, when I got there, I was kind of hesitant, which I should have been; I guess it was my better instinct, but the grass was overgrown, windows were boarded up,” Leszczynski said…
