Anonymous tip leads to 2 arrested in Saron Drive drug investigation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Bluegrass Crime Stoppers said an anonymous tip led to a search on Saron Drive, where investigators reportedly found over 75 grams of illegal drugs, and two people were charged with alleged cocaine trafficking and meth possession.

Officials with the Lexington Police Department said in a news release on Wednesday, June 25, that an anonymous tip to Bluegrass Crime Stoppers led the Narcotics Enforcement Unit to the 4600 block of Saron Drive.

Officials said the tip led investigators to seize 13.2 grams of fentanyl, 14.7 grams of crack cocaine, 35.5 grams of Xanax, 11.6 grams of marijuana, and 2.2 grams of methamphetamine inside a residence.
