Lexington Pride Festival organizers will host this year’s event Saturday, June 28, although several previous sponsors and vendors will not attend. Several roads around downtown Lexington will temporarily close for the festival.
Lexington Police Department spokesperson Hannah Sloan said in a June 25 email to the Herald-Leader the following roads will be closed from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday for pride celebrations:

“Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and use alternative routes,” Sloan added.
