Franklin County father indicted for capital murder after deadly house fire

FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) A Franklin County father has been indicted on multiple charges, including two counts of capital murder, in connection with a deadly house fire that killed his two sons and a family dog earlier this year.

According to a press release from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Dustin Fields was indicted by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on June 25. The charges include one count of first-degree arson, two counts of capital murder, and two counts of torture of a dog.
